Peter Wear (Founder/Artistic Director) escaped from the real world by joining his first comedy group at Hornsey College of Art in the summer of lurve and revolution - 1968. He has been writing and performing comedy in large groups, small groups, double-acts and one-man shows ever since. This trend towards singularity suggests that if you want something doing properly - do it yourself! TV credits include: Sharpe, The Young Ones, Lenny Henry and French and Saunders. Flip Webster actress, comedienne, and Arts Council England supported writer has worked with a number of Impro groups and as resident improviser at The Gate, London for 7 years and the Donmar Warehouse. TV includes: ‘Life Begins’, ‘New Tricks’, ‘Wire in the Blood’, ‘Casualty’ and ‘Eastenders’. Film includes ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’, ‘Irina P’, ‘The Haunting of Helen Walker’ and ‘Ungentlemanly Act’ (BAFTA Winner). She has appeared in a number of TV comedy programmes including 2 series with Paul Merton, and BBC radio including ‘Live on Arrival’ with Steve Punt and Hugh Dennis and ‘Robin and Wendy’s Wet Weekends’. Theatre includes ‘An Inspector Calls’ with Hugh Grant, directed by Richard Wilson. She wrote and performed ‘Flipside’ for the Edinburgh Festival. She has written with Peter Wear and Joe Hobbs.

John Voce. Actor, improviser, voice artist, teacher, compere - John does it all. He has performed with all available impro groups and appeared at ‘Just For Laughs’ in Montreal three times. His theatre work ranges from his 2-handed impro show ‘The Conversation’ with Michael Legge to Pantomime and his TV work includes: ‘Eastenders’, ‘Holby City’, ‘My Parents are Aliens’ and ‘A Waste of Shame’ as well as numerous TV and radio ads. He has appeared in the films 'Crush', 'Piccadilly Jim', and the soon to be released 'Penelope'. Not content with all that he has provided many voices for animated films and provided the voice for the touring show of Thomas the Tank Engine and his corporate work includes teaching, presenting through to performing.

Paul Rogan is an actor, writer and performer specialising in comedy. He has improvised regularly with The Comedy Store Players, Spontaneous Combustion, Court in the Act and at ‘Just for Laughs’ in Montreal and guested in nearly every other group going. He has performed Stand-Up at the Comedy Store, the Jongleurs circuit, around the U.K. and in Europe. Joe Hobbs was born in Bristol and was raised on family wartime stories. After completing Theatre Studies in Bath, he joined the Natural Theatre Company with whom he toured for seven years. After writing a one-man version of Treasure Island, he co-wrote The Three Musketeers with Peter Wear, which won a London Fringe award. Returning to Bristol he appeared in the Bristol Old Vic premiere of Up the Feeder, Down the Mouth where he met Kate and Ross, and has since appeared in A Christmas Carol and Up & Under. He co-wrote and performed "It’s a Hoot!" and "Passport to Danger" with Peter Wear and Flip Webster.

Natalie Haverstock. Theatre work includes Anna in 'Fathers And Sons' and Countess Charlotte in 'A Little Night Music' at the Lillian Bayliss theatre. Her experience in improvised comedy ranges from performing with most impro groups in the UK, to being invited 3 times to represent Britain at 'Just For Laughs' in Montreal and being Director of London Theatresports. Films include 'Orwell. Against The Tide' for STV (BAFTA nominated), and 'The Last Supper' for Intermezzo Films. Suki Webster is an experienced comic improviser, performing regularly with The Comedy Store Players, Court in the Act, Paul Merton’s Impro Chums, One Word Improv with Eddie Izzard and The Impro Musical and guesting with The Spontaneity Shop, Grand Theft Impro and many others. She has also written and performed 2 solo shows: ‘Best Man’ and, most recently, ‘Body Part Double’ at the Edinburgh Festival, inspired by her experiences in that profession and directed by Paul Merton. Her recent film appearances include Alex in ‘Comic Act’, directed by Jack Hazan and as Sarah in ‘A Place in my Heart’, directed by Dermot Tynan.

Matthew Devereaux’s acting credits include: The Big Bopper in West End Hit ‘Buddy’, Max in the BBC drama ‘Crocodile Shoes’, Dennis Shaw in the Evening Standard award winning comedy ‘Jeffrey Bernard is Unwell’. He has performed on the alto saxophone regularly over the last 20 years at the Soho Jazz Festival and has sung opera at the Purcell Rooms and the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. Original plays and adaptations by Matt have enjoyed seasons at the Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch, the White Bear Theatre and the King’s Head Theatre in London. Matt has written and collaborated on original music for the Nuffield Theatre, Southampton’s acclaimed production of Moliere’s ‘School for Wives’, ‘Comic Discipline’ at the Edinburgh Festival and composed the orchestral soundtrack for Dominic Frisby’s film ‘Love on the Upper Lip’. Matt is a regular performer on the London Stand-up and impro comedy circuit.

Jonathan James-Moore is ex-President of the Cambridge Footlights, co-founder of the Oxford and Cambridge Shakespeare Company and spent 10 years managing theatres, notably the Mermaid Theatre. He joined the BBC Radio Light Entertainment Department as a producer in 1978 and was head from 1991-1999. He produced programmes featuring among others John Cleese, Maureen Lipman, Roy Hudd, Imelda Staunton, Kenneth Williams and Miriam Margolyes. Sadly he died on November 20th 2005 after a long illness. He will be sorely missed.

Matt Saunders is a director, sound designer, engineer and general technical god. He has worked at the Royal College of Music, Chop Em Out, Sound Service and various other establishments of variable respectability. He has performed Stockhausen, Cage and Lindberg (amongst others), played Panther motorcycles at the Purcell Room, built stages and done the sound at various free festivals in the '80's and been ring master for the Nettlefold, Colourscape and Company Week Music Festivals. He has recorded Derek Bailey, John Zorn, Cecil Taylor, Evelyn Glennie, Evan Parker, Buckethead, Faust and many, many others. He has sound designed for films, operas and lots of other stuff. P.S.
